8 PLY / DK WEIGHT
Superwash merino & bamboo hand dyed yarn
Dianella is our delicious DK range of hand dyed merino and bamboo. The unique dye uptake of the bamboo fibre creates a lovely almost heathered appearance, particularly enhanced in the more saturated colours. This limited release range of 8ply yarns has a beautiful bloom and full lofty feel!
A hardwearing superwash merino and natural bamboo fibre blend, Dianella has an amazing soft handle, structure, sheen, warmth and wooliness! Our Dianella yarn is ideal for garments such as jumpers, sweaters, scarves, cowls and beanies.

Dianella can be Dyed To Order in most of our standard repeatable colourways on request. Minimum order quantities and lead times may apply. Reach out to us via the Contact Us form for further details.
Please note, these colourway images are to be used as a guide only. Blackwattle yarns are hand dyed, so each skein will be unique in it’s own special way. Though we use the same recipe batch to batch, each wash of dye splashes in different ways, colours blend uniquely and sprinkles of dye may not fall in the same spots as last time. It’s part of what makes hand dyed yarns so special!
Our hand dyed yarns have been washed to remove excess dye from the fibres, however with dark and saturated colourways some residual dye may remain. We suggest washing projects individually.
For your Dianella projects, we suggest a gentle machine or hand wash in cold water. Wool wash or a mild detergent may be used.
We recommend blocking and drying garments flat and not tumble drying.
