Banksia

Banksia is an 8ply / DK weight hand dyed yarn blend of superwashed merino and hemp, that has a really lovely heathered look throughout due to the inclusion of the natural hemp fibres. The hemp fibres continue to soften the more the yarn is worked and results in a beautiful final fabric. This blend of superwashed merino and hemp is ideal for garments such as jumpers, sweaters, scarves, cowl and beanies. Banksia is also a popular choice for soft furnishings such as blankets, throws and rugs and also utilised in amigurumi style toys and keepsakes.

Banksia is unfortunately discontinued and no longer available to us from our mill, so the below listed colourways are all that remain available.

This product is sold in hanks / skeins that will need to be wound into balls / cakes for use. If you don’t have ball winding equipment at home and aren’t keen on baling them by hand, we are happy to wind your yarn purchase into balls before posting or pickup, so you can start your project as soon as your order arrives. This is an additional service to the cost of your yarn and can be ordered <HERE>.
