Alpaca Breeders Collection Members
The Alpaca Breeders Collection, was established in February 2017, and is managed by One Tree Hill Alpacas. It has been set up to help support micro and small alpaca businesses to produce and sell quality alpaca yarn and fibre products that are grown and processed in New South Wales, Australia.
Alpaca Breeders Collection members yarn and fibre is sold under their own label called the Alpaca Breeders Collection, via this website, and showcases the stunning array of natural colours of the undyed alpaca fibre.
Abby and Phil Gold - Goldview Alpacas
Goldview Alpaca’s is a boutique stud located in Yass, NSW. Abby and Phil are focused on breeding good tempered, beautiful yarn producing alpacas in an array of stunning colours.
Fiona Vanderbeek - Birrong Suri Alpacas
Fiona has been breeding white suri alpacas since 2002 on her farm in Canyonleigh, Southern Highlands, NSW, and has always been focused on the production of a high quality end product. Whether in a blend or on its own, her suri fibre produces yarns with a unique sheen and beautiful handle.
Bob Kingwell - Monga Alpacas
Monga Alpaca yarn is produced from fleece that is exquisitely soft with exceptional character. These beautiful alpacas are bred on native pastures at the edge of Monga National Park between Canberra and the coast, share their pasture with kangaroos and Wombats and drink from a stream containing platypus, water rats and water dragons.
Sharon Dawson - Jennjoley Alpacas

Their aim is to produce black alpacas with fine, dense fleece and perfect conformation using the best genetics, producing stunningly beautiful yarn and fibre.

Regal House Alpacas, established in 1996, is situated in the Hawkesbury / Blue Mountains region just an hour to the north-west of Sydney. Growing stunning alpaca fibre that produces beautifully soft yarn and fibre, using their elite stud sires to continualy improve their fibre.
Jennie and Roy Menzies - Tirrikee Alpacas
Jennie and Roy Menzies run Tirrikee Alpacas located on the northern side of Bathurst in the hilly country towards Sofala. Jennie and Roy have been breeding alpacas since 2008. Their farm, which is abundant with native wildlife, consists of rolling hills of native grasses.
Kylie Streatfield and Fiona McKenna - Kyona Alpacas
Kyona Alpacas was established in 2005 and is a family business, operated by sisters-in-law, Kylie Streatfeild and Fiona McKenna. Their farm is located in the Millthorpe/Forest Reefs area, approximately 15 minutes south of Orange on rich basalt soils with gorgeous views to Mt Canobolas.
Diana Rutter - Keiana Lodge Alpacas
Situated approximately 1100 metres above sea level, and about 70 kms Mudgee, Lithgow or Bathurst, Keinna Lodge Alpaca Farm is a family run business with a herd of over 700 alpacas. The farm, called Running Stream, is 2000 arces of open paddocks, beautiful native tree belts and pretty streams, well suited to farming alpacas and to producing quality fibre.
Tanya and Jim Boston - Jimburra Alpacas
Located on 40 acres of prime farmland in the beautiful Burra Valley, 40 minutes drive, south east of Canberra, and 30 minutes south of Queanbeyan, their aim is to breed top quality alpacas, in the full range of colours, focusing on fine fleece that stays fine, maximum comfort factor and optimal density. Tanya and Jim also run and operate Boston Fine Fibres, one of the mills Blackwattle uses for our yarn and fibre processing.
Neale and Marina Rankin - Danlauren Alpacas
Neale and Marina operate Cross View Farm, Monaro Highway, Michelago. The farm consists of wind sweep pastures with lightly wooden groves of native trees which is inhabited by a beautiful array of native Australian wildlife. Neale and Marina’s alpacas are pets with their own names and are very much loved. They are part of the family.
Scott and Erin Marsden - Hyghclere Alpacas
Focused on producing quality genetics in coloured alpacas, Scott and Erin run a herd of mainly coloured alpacas from their farm located Selection Road, Lewis Ponds, NSW. Their farm house is situated on top of a hill with breathtaking views of the farm and surrounding National Parks. Abundant with Australia native wildlife, their farm is located in an area that grows beautiful alpaca fibre.
