On 24 November, many Aussies grab for the 100s and 1000s and whip up a plate of Fairy Bread to share with whoever they’re with on Fairy Bread Day.
In 2020 Fairy Bread Day announced its partnership with Australia’s leading online mental health service, ReachOut, raising $30.9K to help support Australia’s youth. Continuing their partnership in 2021 and again in 2022, Fairy Bread Day is dedicated to Sprinkling Kindness and hosting space for important conversations around mental health, while celebrating this iconic Aussie treat.
After the overwhelming support we received on Fairy Bread Day 2021, we’ve been busy on the dye trays again this year in preparation for our own online Fairy Bread Day fundraiser with a bit of a squishy twist! So today, November 24th you’ll be able to buy some gorgeous new Fairy Bread inspired limited batch skeins and mini skeins designed to tickle your taste buds and in turn help support those in need.
From the sale of these hand dyed yarns, all profit we raise will be donated to help assist ReachOut in delivering their programs to improve the mental health and wellbeing of those in need. Your support is greatly appreciated and I’m pretty sure you’ll love our tasty new creations in return!
