12ply / Bulky Weight - Superwash Merino Nylon Yarn

Boronia is our beautifully bulky yarn blend composing of 80% superwash merino wool and 20% nylon. This super squishy, single stranded (12ply equivalent) yarn is ideal for crocheting, knitting and creative fibre projects like weaving. Make beautiful blankets, rugs, throws, sweaters, hats and scarves with this yummy limited release yarn. A great yarn option for beginners, because yarn with this thickness works up so quickly. This yarn is super soft, chunky and warm, and all hand dyed here on our farm!

Fibre: 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon

Weight: Single stranded bulky equivalent to 12ply

Skein Weight: Approx. 100 grams

Meterage: Approx. 70 metres (76 yards) per skein

Gauge: 12-16 sts to10cm (Knit) or 8 – 11 sts to 10cm (crochet)

Needles: 5.5 to 9.0mm (US 9 to 13) depending on the fabric you require for your project.

Hooks: 6.5 to 9.0mm (K-10½ to M-13) depending on the fabric you require for your project.

Colours: 6 Limited release hand dyed colourways, dyed on our farm

Care: Superwashed – We suggest a gentle machine cycle, or preferably a gentle hand wash. We recommend drying garments flat and not tumble drying.
